He, She, and It - the Grammar of Marraige

He, She, and It - the Grammar of Marraige

SKU: HSIVG

27 short stories compiled and edited by Vineetha Mekkoth and Geetha Nair G

This is a striking collection of intensely personal stories.
“He, She, and Marriage”, the three categories in the title, come together in varied ways to create vivid patterns. Every marriage is different here and imagined by different authors in distinctive styles and settings. The stories range from grave to gay, from clear to dense. I found them compelling and enjoyable.

Currently, he paints, and works as a Journalism Faculty member at XIC, St Xavier's College, Mumbai.

The number 27 signifies new beginnings, says numerology. The twenty-seven tales in this anthology of stories lay out the myriad hues of that age-old institution we call marriage and hands us a mirror to view it anew. Although one can claim one has heard and seen it all about marriage and its dilemmas, one is most intrigued by the sheer diversity in the aspects of marriage the talented writers here have chosen to apply their pen to. The surprises continue in the treatment of the chosen aspect, the writers choosing a style closest to their hearts. And all this coming together in a delightful bouquet!
